  • Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, we and/or our third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) collect payment details, such as credit card information, billing address, and transaction history.

B. Data Collected from Third-Party Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

When you connect a third-party social media account (including a Facebook or Instagram profile, page, or group) to the XTask Service, you authorize us to collect certain data from that platform via their APIs (Application Programming Interfaces).

  • Access Tokens and Credentials: We collect non-expiring access tokens necessary to maintain the connection and perform actions on your behalf (e.g., scheduling posts, retrieving analytics).

  • Social Profile Information: We collect your public profile data, such as your profile picture, name, page ID, and account handles.

  • Content and Interaction Data (Necessary for Service): We access and store content you wish to schedule or publish (e.g., text, images, videos), as well as data necessary for analytics, such as post metrics (likes, comments, shares, reach, impressions), and comments/messages you manage through our platform.

    • We DO NOT collect or store sensitive personal data such as private messages or passwords from social media accounts, beyond the necessary access tokens.

C. Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including the pages you visit, the features you use, the time and date of your activity, and log files.

  • Device and Technical Information: We collect information about the device you use to access the Service, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, and hardware model.

  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies and similar technologies to track activity on our Service and hold certain information, such as user preferences and session identifiers.

 

2. How We Use the Information

 

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To Provide the Service: To operate, maintain, and provide all features of the XTask platform, including scheduling content, publishing posts, and managing your connected social media accounts.

  • To Improve and Customize the Service: To analyze usage trends, perform research, test new features, and personalize your experience.

  • Communication: To send you service-related communications (e.g., notifications about scheduled posts, changes to policies, technical updates) and promotional or marketing emails (which you can opt out of).

  • Billing and Account Management: To process payments, manage your subscriptions, and ensure account security.

  • Compliance and Legal Purposes: To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you, or others.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

 

We retain the information we collect for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service, or as required for legal, regulatory, or accounting purposes.

Specifically for Data Collected from Facebook/Instagram:

If you wish to remove all data we have collected via your Facebook App usage, you can do so in the following ways:

  1. Via XTask Settings: You may disconnect your Facebook and/or Instagram accounts within your XTask dashboard settings. This will automatically trigger the deletion of all associated tokens and content data from our system.

  2. Via Facebook Platform: You can revoke our application's access permissions directly through your Facebook Settings, under "Apps and Websites." Once access is revoked, Facebook notifies us, and we will delete your user data from our system within a commercially reasonable timeframe.

  3. Direct Request: You can send a data deletion request to our contact email specified below.

 

5. Third-Party Disclosures

 

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We share information with third-party vendors, consultants, and other service providers (e.g., payment processors, hosting providers) who perform services on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or protect the rights and property of XTask.
